An Invitation to first things
Join us for a day dedicated to teaching and renewing our faith at the First Things event for evangelicals, set for this Saturday, 27th April, in Moira. This gathering is specifically designed for those from the Church of Ireland who are passionate about the Gospel, disciple-making, and deepening in biblical truth. It offers an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, forge new visions for growth, and inspire the next generation of evangelical leaders.
We are privileged to welcome Archbishop Justin Badi and Canon John McGinley as our keynote speakers. Archbishop Justin, serving as the Primate of South Sudan and a pivotal figure in the Global South Fellowship of Anglican Churches, will inaugurate our sessions with a bible reading and discuss the core principles of evangelism within the Anglican tradition.
Canon John McGinley, who spearheads the ambitious Myriad initiative aimed at planting 10,000 new churches, will delve into the vital role evangelicals play in the Anglican church and propose a revitalized approach to engage both current and future generations.
